It is single-canal, double-sided converter of RS232c serial interface to RS485(with galvanic separation). It uses simple double-wire line (half duplex), without need to shade transfer route. Maximum range is 1200 m. Galvanic separation provides protection from compensatory currents and induced voltage overload. Wired part RS485 is protected from puls voltage overload (software protection). Receiver may be turned on permanently or its control may be set inverse to the transmitter control. End and resting resistance may be realized by short-circuit connectors.
It is supplied from external +12V DC power supply (±10%, with positive pole on middle contact) and it has protection from mis-poling and pulse voltage overload.
