Access control system is used to protect and secure objects. Classic keys are replaced by contact or contactless chip identification cards.
Terminals are connected in the network with one control center, which is processing and interpreting data according to the level of security on-line.
System structure
- identification cards
- access reading units - terminals (without or with keyboard for PIN input)
- communication resources (terminal servers - Ethernet, data concentrators - RS485)
- control center with application software
System features
- on-line data transfer to control center
- multiple system backups against data loss (terminal, PC)
- modular structure enabling easy system extension according to customer's needs - on every level of project development
- monitoring of terminals
Object access configuration
- valid card
- PIN code
- PIN code and card combination
- PIN code and fingerprint combination
- card and fingerprint combination
WIS allows configuration of terminals and system parameters, definition of access models and their distribution to card holders for access control in physical and time zones, reading of recorded passages from terminals and its export to superstructured applications. Several superstructured applications can work with one instance of WIS.
WIS features
- administration of contactless cards (card issue, register of employees)
- administration of terminals (initialization, testing, terminal list modification and setting of the terminal type)
- definition of access rights for employees or group of employees based on access model
- assigning of individual access rights to the holder of the card - time and physical zones
- definition of tasks for communication stations
- opportunity to lock terminals separately or in zones
- recording and interpreting of marked employee passages
- current view of presence and absence on the workplace
